Cowgirl's Story
Meet Cowgirl! Cowgirl is the size of a tall, petite, King Charles.
She is snuggly, highly trainable, shy, and incredibly precious. She absolutely wants a human bed to sleep in at night and would do best with someone who is home more often than not and in a home that isnt super rowdy or with lots of peole coming and going.

Cowgirl will deeply connect to her trusted humans and would love adventures with her people.

More than anything, she is tired of being lonely. She has been living at a rural, kennel-based rescue in California for awhile, so we took her into our care in Portland OR, to try and get her some notice! And boy are we glad we did. She is awesome!

Because she tends to "herd" little feet, she would do best in a home without children (and ideally one not planning for children soon). She likes other dogs and we THINK she would likely do well with cats too, though additional testing would be needed.

She is about one year old, spayed, vaccinated, and has had her rabies shot.

Adoption fee is: $400

If you are interested in adopting her, please text 804 651 6442 or apply at STARTrescue.org
