Want someone to tell your innermost secrets to? Someone whom you can trust implicitly, and know that he or she won’t tell anyone else what you confided to them?

If that is what you are looking for, Cotton is your dog! Anything you tell him falls on deaf ears … literally. Although Cotton is deaf, he does not lack for intelligence and love. A 4-year old, 60 .lbs male American Staffordshire Terrier/bully blend, Cotton is caring, loving and a great companion. When you take him on walks, he will keep looking at you, or even occasionally brush up against your leg – just to check that you are still there. And while he may not know traditional “sign language,” Cotton does know signs, particularly signs for sitting, laying, sitting up, staying and coming. To watch him work, feeding off the signs he sees, is nothing short of remarkable.
While Cotton does not like surprises from behind (and really, who does?) he does mix well with other dogs.

And is this boy ever playful! He will grab big balls and smack his chosen human play mate with the ball, just to tease a little bit. He doesn’t want you to take it from him, but he wants you to play with him on his terms.

He is leash trained, house trained, and crate trained. And when he looks into your eyes it almost seems he is looking deep into your heart. Cotton is beautiful, sweet, loving, and waiting to be taken to his forever home.
