Cosmos Pit Bull Terrier & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Cumming, GA

Hi I'm Cosmos! My foster mom thinks I should be named Cupid or Sweetie Pie because I'm just that precious. I'm a 20 lb pup and will be around 45-55 lbs full grown. I'm an old soul - I have a very chill and laid back personality. Some of my favorite things are collecting toys and putting them in my bed, laying in the warm sun and just being around my humans. I get along great with other dogs and even cats! Potty training and crate training are going well and I'm learning to navigate stairs and walk on a leash. I'm a typical puppy who looks to my humans for guidance and acceptance and would do well with a family to teach me the ropes. I think we'd be the perfect match!

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.

Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
