Copper's Story
Name: Copper
Sex: Male (Neutered)
Weight: 10 lbs

Snapshot: Unique 'Split Face' Terrier (Kids 10+). Mellow, Devoted, and Your Attentive Shadow.

Personality: Copper is a 2-year-old terrier mix who is a true visual masterpiece, sporting a unique half-orange, half-white "split face" and a permanent, adorable tongue blep. He is a sensitive, observant soul who takes a little bit of time to transition. It takes him about three days to fully warm up to a new foster home, but once those three days pass and he knows he is safe, he transforms into the most devoted companion you could ever ask for.

Copper is exceptionally mellow, but he does come with one very important quirk: he is a Velcro "escape artist." Copper doesn't try to run away out of a desire to roam he simply wants to be exactly where his human is at all times, and will deftly slip through an open door or gate just to follow your footsteps. He requires attentive parents who will keep him secure indoors or on a leash, and a home with kids ages 10 and up who will cherish having a loyal, dedicated shadow.

OUR LOCATION & TRANSPORT POLICY: Fur Ever Yours Dog Rescue is based in Eastern Washington (Tonasket/Omak/Oroville), where our dedicated first-line foster homes are located and where veterinary care is most accessible. Because we cross-list our dogs in multiple regions to help them find the perfect match, you may see this dog listed in several cities.

For Small Dogs (Under 20 lbs): Once an adoption application is fully approved, we provide volunteer-based transport to designated meeting spots in Ellensburg, Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Moses Lake, or Brewster for Western/Central WA families.

For Eastern WA, Montana, or Idaho Families: We host pre-arranged adoption meet-and-greets in Reardan or Spokane Valley.
Please Note: We do not transport dogs sight-unseen without an approved application.
