Cooper's Story

Meet Cooper, a 4-year-old Airedoodle weighing 4045 pounds. While the family has had him seen he was a puppy, sadly they are looking to rehome him as he is too rambunctious and strong for their toddler and would be better suited for a home without young children.

More than anything, Cooper misses the one-on-one attention he received before they became parents which is another reason they're looking to rehome him. As much as they love Cooper, they know he deserves a home where he can once again be someones main focus.

Cooper is an incredibly loving, affectionate dog who loves being with his people. His favorite place is curled up next to you on the couch or snuggled up in bed. He has a lot of energy and would do best with an active family that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of love and attention.

He has completed professional training and knows his basic commands, including sit, down, stay, paw, and off. Cooper does need some additional work with walking politely on a leash, as he can get excited and distracted during walks. He is fully housetrained and has no known health issues aside from seasonal allergies, which are well managed with medication.

Cooper struggles with anxiety and can be easily startled. When meeting new people or dogs, he often barks because he is nervous—not because he is aggressive. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet and loving personality shines through. While he's currently living with two other dogs, he'd require very slow introductions. The family has never had him around cats, so theyre unsure how he would do with them.

Cooper would thrive in:
A home with adults or older children
Someone willing to continue building his confidence through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement
An active family that will include him in their daily lives and give him the attention he craves

His adoption fee is $450 and Cooper is vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered.
