Meet Coop
Coop came to us in December when he was founding wandering in the Columbus area.
He is scheduled for his neuter on 1/31/20. He is a young, active, and playful dog. He likes to play fetch and plays with other dogs, although he may need a careful introduction, he has made friends nicely with the dogs we have introduced him to so far. He does do better with larger dogs and can be a bit overbearing when introduced to dogs his size or smaller.
He will need a very structured home with some training, but he is very motivated by food and willing to work!
Watch him for nipping at people he does not know when they come into his space. He does have a bite history associated with guarding a bone and people reaching into his space. As such, he will need a home without children to ensure we are careful about avoiding such scenarios until he has had some training and behavior work.
Ask about him if you are interested or come out to meet him! When introduced properly he has loved everyone he meets.
