Colson is a sweet and happy 3-year-old Bichon-poodle mix (we think) currently available for adoption. .<br/><br/>Colson is a quiet little guy with a very affectionate personality. He truly loves being close to his people and will follow you wherever you go. He is a big fan of cuddles and prefers to sleep in the big bed under the covers at night. He weighs approximately 10 lbs and had to be completely shaved down after his rescue. <br/><br/>Regarding his temperament and training:<br/><br/> - Socialization: He gets along well with both cats and dogs of all sizes.<br/> - Crate Training: He will go into his crate, though he does tend to bark while inside.<br/> - Potty Training: He is currently a work in progress and is continuing to work on his house training skills. He is about 90% housetrained at this time.<br/><br/>Colson is a wonderful companion who is ready to find his forever home.<br/><br/>Requirements for Adoption:<br/>Sorry, but we only place our dogs in the Columbus area. <br/>Must be over the age of 24 to adopt.<br/>Your resident pets must be spayed/neutered.<br/><br/>Adoption Process:<br/>We do not have an application. Adoptions are pet-adopter driven.<br/>To meet our pets:<br/>Call our office at 614-471-9000 or click on the pet that you are interested in and send an email. We will be happy to discuss the adoption process with you and set up a visit at the time of contact. The foster dogs are in foster homes and most of the cats reside at our office.<br/><br/>The adoption process includes a lease manager reference (if applicable), a veterinarian reference, and a home visit.<br/><br/>The pooches that visit your home will not be left there at the end of the visit. We take them back home with us so your family can discuss to ensure he/she is a good fit for your home.<br/><br/>There is an adoption agreement and adoption fees as follows:<br/> $300 for Dogs<br/> $100 for Cats <br/><br/> All pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested (dogs), fiv/leukemia tested (cats), & micro-chipped.<br/>Known medical conditions are discussed at the time of inquiry.
