Cody is a sweet, loving little girl. She loves people and is good with cats and dogs. She is still full of puppy play and silliness and needs a play buddy her own age or an energetic person who loves to walk or run or hike or even agility training. Cody is fully vetted and crate trained. She is house trained and crate trained.

The reason we list Cody as special needs is because she has a condition called Pica.  This is a condition where they eat anything and everything.  And if you're not carefull she will eat something that will harm her.   She is a normal, loving cuddly girl in every other way.  She just needs someone who doesn't mind putting up anything she could get her little paws.

If you would like to give Cody a home please contact us at SilverRescue@gmail.com for an application.

Cody will be adopted to an inside forever home only. Fence preferred but not a deal breaker with the right person. References, vet check, and a home visit are required. Cody’s adoption fee is reduced to $150  because of her special needs status.  This adoption fee will be used to help other pets in need.

Cody’s story: Cody was found wandering in a parking lot behind a restaurant looking for food. She was hungry and dehydrated but not fearful. She had a skin infection and it was likely that she was dumped because her people couldn’t afford to vet her. Cody is happy and healthy today and is ready for her forever home.
