Coco Nugget Black Labrador Retriever & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Springfield, MO

So, here I was, just a stray on the streets. When I ran in front of a car, they opened their door and I jumped in. Little did I know they were Rescue One fosters who were willing to give me a soft place to land while they helped me look for my forever home. My name is Coco Nugget and I am 6-9 month old male black Labrador retriever. Believe it or not, I had pretty good house manners and haven't gone potty in the house even once. Now I am ready for my fur-ever home with a fenced yard (versus an apartment) and a loving family who is willing to work with me on being the best dog I can be. I get along with dogs, cats and kids (although I have lots of energy and might easily knock over little ones). I am sweet, loyal, playful and very friendly. I don't want to go back on the streets again! Won't you be my hero?

I am a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program. I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I've learned!

(As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. This little furball will need all sorts of supplies from leashes to puppy chow, as well as veterinary care, and plenty of walks, Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out.)

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
