Coco's Story

Coco is currently in foster and discovering everything that family life has to offer, and she has absolutely embraced it.

This sweet, compact girl is happiest simply being with her people. Whether you're working from home, relaxing on the couch, or heading out for an adventure, Coco just wants to be by your side.

Around the house, she's wonderfully easy to live with. She's fully crate trained, settles nicely when left alone, enjoys entertaining herself with toys (especially if someone is watching!), and is content lounging in a sunny spot. While she's happy with short potty walks during the day, her favorite part of every day is her evening walk. She walks beautifully on leash, loves car rides, and is always ready for an adventure.

Coco is smart, eager to learn, and currently attends group training classes where she continues to make excellent progress. She has a solid understanding of **sit, down, place, and thresholds**.

Like many dogs who haven't always had stability, Coco can be a little cautious when meeting new people. Give her a little time, and she'll reward you with unwavering loyalty and affection.

Coco should not live with cats but could potentially live with a calm, compatible dog after thoughtful introductions. She doesn't need a large yard and would be equally happy in a condo, townhouse, or traditional home, as long as she has people to love and a daily walk to look forward to.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who is affectionate, easygoing, and ready to become someone's best friend, Coco may be the perfect match. She has discovered just how wonderful family life can be—now all she needs is a family to call her own.
