Meet Coco
Our darling senior girl Coco is in the age 8-10yr old range. She’s been in rescue since March 15th, 2023. Behaviorally, Coco has been ready since day one in rescue. However, coming from vast neglect, her health has been the priority over networking for adoption. Thankfully, Coco IS healthy again and our wonderful girl is adoption ready again.
The kind person who rescued her from an abandoned house DM’d TDF with video of her being a sweetie and shelter info of where they had taken her. Her owner passed, she was left in the home and it seems family knew Coco was there. Her finders noted her nails were growing into her paw pads and did smell like musty cheese balls.
These are some recent Coco pupdates post surgery. She’swatched some #beerpong and has #gonefishing. But mostly, she does what she does best - nap.
It’s always amazes us how Coco can be just such a literal angel regardless of the circumstances.
Since rescue we’ve had her go through 3 surgeries: spay, dental to fix a lot of teeth and malignant tumor removal. Her vet is happy about the margins, and it’s grade 2 which means small chance of more bumps. However, there remains a good chance at also a normal life expectancy! This girl deserves as many wonderful years as she can get. Our Coco is a spry senior!
Coco has also gone on a road trip from CA to WA, WA to MO, MO to CA with many stops and hikes along the way. She’s been dog sat and has done great with each volunteer. We all LOVE us some Coco. She is such a gem and a literal dream to walk on leash. Excellent pace, adorable trot and she is self assured and not bothered by much!!
Coco has gone to sooooo many backyard bbq’s, cafes, bars, road trips, vet visits, etc and hikes - this girl is down for it all. But she also LOVES to nap and chill.
She’s also - small and big dog tested, cat tested, kiddo tested and is also non destructive, no sep anxiety and has no resource guarding. Still independent jindo. Not the cuddle bug style but she loves her foster mom so hard.
Perfection. Literal senior sweetheart. Everything we love about seniors and jindos ??
