Meet Coco
Senior girl Coco is estimated to be 8-10yrs old, 45lbs, spayed and current on vaccines. She is currently in foster in Los Angeles, CA. She was rescued by a kind soul from an abandoned house. Her owner had passed, family knew Coco was still in the home and yet she was left there on her own for a long time. Her nails had grown into her paw pads. She was taken to an LA City Shelter, finder related all info, including how sweet she was to our rescue, TDF, and TDF was able to quickly find her a foster and bring her into rescue.
Coco is now in good health! We also did a dental & teeth extractions, full senior blood panel and urinalysis.
Coco does have a jindo temperment. She is an independent girl who doesn’t need constant affection and attention. However, she will do a happy dance when you come home from work and give you all the tail wags and some kisses. She’s currently in foster in an apt and does not have sep anxiety/destructive behaviors. Coco will alert bark if strangers enter the home. She will always keep an eye on you when out and about because she wants to protect you. She does redirect her attention back to her foster mom and responds very well to her name (unless she’s being intentionally stubborn lol which is very jindo).
Coco can do 3 mile hikes and accompanies her foster mom to dog friendly cafes, restaurants and bars. People melt over Coco! She is overall very tolerant with humans and we do think she would be good with respectful kiddos.
Coco is good with other dogs but will stand up for herself if a dog is being too pushy/getting in her face. She’s been in dog sit with other dogs and did overall very well with her TDF cousins who are smaller and bigger than her.
