Meet Clyde
If you were just getting ready to pack your bags for an adventure and realized sadly you had no one to go with you - then look no furhter!! Clyde is your partner in crime for all things fun and adventurous. This beautiful boy is a 20 month old Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler. He's very smart and loves the challenge of a new trick. Clyde loves to succeed so he practices his frisbee catching daily and is just waiting for his new family to come play so that he can impress them!
Clyde would not do well with small children. He seems to like other dogs but needs to be introduced propertly. He has not spent much time with cats but his personality seems like he would be quite interested in trying to play with them which they probably wouldn't care for.
This young pup has spent time moving around into too many homes and is ready for a stable and consistent environment to thrive in. Clyde is not a cuddler and needs a person who understands his breed and his need to exercise! Clyde does have some past trauma that related to crates and gate doors. He can become aggressive towards them though we have found ways to manage this to make him feel safe but he will need a confident handler who can help him with these struggles and can meet him where he is at and work with him.
If you are interested in more information on Clyde, or to schedule a meet-and-greet, please contact the Canine Rescue of Central PA at 717-232-1644 or e-mail us at adopt@crcpa.org.
