Clementine Golden Retriever & Poodle Mix Wayzata, MN

Clementine is a well loved gem of a dog. She is a spayed 1.5 year old 45 pound goldendoodle that is a wonderful dog except for her resource guarding behavior. She is ok around her food bowl but guards random desired objects. She comes from a loving home that has tried working with her and though has seen improvement thinks it's best to rehome her to a kid free family. She seems to target the younger kids with this guarding behavior. They have worked with an in-home behaviorist and have done their best.

Otherwise she is very friendly, well trained (other than jumping up- working on that) potty trained - and HIGHLY INTELLIGENT. She is 45 pounds and still growing, up to date with vet care, comes with vet records and an adoption agreement.

Clementine is in the rehoming program of Blue Sky Rescue, a 501c3 rescue that screens all applicants. Please do NOT inquire if you have children under the age of 16 or have grandchildren living with you or visiting more than a few times a year. The ideal home would be a home owner with a fenced in yard that has lots of experience with resource guarding and high energy dogs. She will require at least an hour or more of exercise EACH DAY. We know this breed type is extremely popular and there will be no exceptions to our requirements in placing her. Expect a thorough screening for this girl needs a special home.
