Meet Cindy Lou
Meet Miss Cindy Lou!
Cindy Lou is an approximately 5-year old female Rat Terrier mix and weighs around 18 lbs.
She was homeless and pregnant when she was rescued off the street. She delivered 7 healthy puppies 3 weeks after being rescued off the street. Cindy was diagnosed heartworm positive and had a cherry eye. She has completed her heart worm treatment and has had her eye repaired.
She still suffers from her life on the street - she’s a little untrusting but you can tell she really wants your affection. She does very well with house training, DOES NOT like a leash, they scare her. She would do best in a home with another dog just to help her trust. A calm home with someone home a lot would be ideal for her. She is really a very sweet loving girl.
Because she is a little shy/nervous about loud noises and would be a front door dart risk, we do not feel comfortable with her going to a home with young kids. She also needs a securely fenced yard.
We don’t crate her, she does okay in one but getting her in takes a little work and isn’t worth scaring her. She is not destructive and can be left alone in the house.
Home check required!
Cindy Lou is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $200.
