Cindy Catahoula Leopard Dog Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Cindy, an approximately 17lb (and still growing!), female, Catahoula puppy who was born on 1/2/21 and became a Misfit when her pregnant mom was brought in. Cindy does have seasonal allergies which are managed with Benadryl. She is also taking fish oil to fight dry skin. She is spayed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!

Cindy is working on house training but does use potty pads in the house when she can’t make it outside. She is comfortable with sleeping in a kennel while you are out during the day and at night. Cindy is working on learning to sit on command and how to walk on a leash. She is a fast learner as long as there are treats involved.

Cindy is currently living with small to large dogs of all ages and activity level and a cat. She would certainly do well with other dogs. Amy is very curious about cats and will need supervised introductions.

Cindy is very energetic and loves to play. Her favorite pass time is bringing you sticks from outside and scattering her toys around the house/yard. She also loves playing tug o war with other dogs. She is an excellent jumper/climber so she sometimes sneaks onto the couch. Cindy will require exercise and routine to be successful. Her current schedule includes night crating from 9:30pm-6:30am. At 6:30 she will go outside, eat/drink, back outside, then down for a nap. She has lunch around noon and dinner around 6-7pm. Back yard play is a nightly routine to help her burn that energy. Cindy is independent and can entertain herself but would love a human that can spend plenty of time playing and cuddling.
