Cinder-ADOPTION PENDING! Yorkshire Terrier & Poodle Mix Boulder, CO

Cinder is such a loving girl with both humans and other dogs that Farfel's Rescue was contacted by the shelter in Kansas...could we possibly find a special and committed home for this exceptional Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle mix? We're not entirely sure how this truly wonderful young girl ended up in such a dismal, very high-kill facility...but what we are sure of is that this adorable and scruffy little girl is worthy of a wonderful forever home. Cinder quietly creeps into your heart...her behavior is so sweet and engaging... no dog could want to please more. At about 9 - 12 months old and approximately 10 lbs, Cinder is a blank slate just waiting for loving guidance and clear boundaries so she understands how to be a great adult dog. She's starting her path in life with the greatest temperament ever and the curiosity to learn how to please...she gets so excited when she feels she's done a good job! We're searching for a truly devoted home for Cinder with the enthusiasm and time to train and nurture Cinder into a great companion (although she really couldn't be more loving and sweet than she is right now). She would respond so well to socialization - she would love nothing more than to come along to dog-friendly spots to interact with as many humans and dogs as possible. Cinder is currently being fostered with 5 other dogs...no problem. She's having so much fun being part of the group and enjoying the yard and sunshine of the summer days. We would like to see Cinder enrolled in positive reinforcement group Obedience classes.. she would love it and it would give her every opportunity to excel in life.
Cinder is a non-shedding girl and will therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep her coat healthy and matt-free. Cinder's photo is from the shelter and her coat is filthy and matted. Once she has her first sudsy bath and grooming, we'll post a photo of the brand-new Cinder.
