Perhaps, Cider is the dog for you?<br/><br/>Meet CIDER!!<br/><br/>Poor Cider was found as a stray in Hamilton, TX after she wandered on to someone's property. We were able to find a foster for her, but unfortunately one of her dogs took exception to her being there. So, Cider is now at the Hico Animal Control Shelter in Hico, TX. Cider is 2 years old, 42 lbs., beautiful, spayed female Husky, with one of the best singing voices you'll ever hear. She's great with adults, children, and most dogs, though we recommend proper introductions. She chases cats and will try to eat them if she catches them. She's good on leash, crate, house and doggie door trained. Though she's not overly fond of the crate.<br/><br/>She's a husky and it's hot here, so she's currently shedding a lot. All that fur aside, she is a wonderful dog, who just needs a loving, cat free home in which to thrive. Could that home be yours?<br/><br/>Cider is up to date on vaccines, rabies, and on preventatives, for fleas/ticks/heartworms and other intestinal parasite. We work to rehabilitate and rehome unwanted cats and dogs in Stephenville and surrounding towns. We have recently expanded our scope to include Hamilton County, TX and are currently working with the City of Hamilton and the Hico Police Department to find loving foster and permanent homes for dogs that have been abandoned and have ended up in the Hamilton Pound or the Hico Animal Shelter. <br/> Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S.)'s mission is to sponsor low cost spay/neuter and wellness exams, provide community education and provide food and supplies to those in need. We also do our best to find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, or abused animals. Our animals are vaccinated and on preventatives.
