Chopper was surrendered to the shelter because he was not doing well with the toddler in the home pushing his boundaries. He would do best in a home without children under 5. Chopper does growl when in his crate if pressured to come out. It is best to encourage him to come out with a treat or other positive reinforcement. Chopper was said to view his crate as a safe place and was stated to be crate-trained. He is also housebroken and knows his basic commands. Chopper was known to dig and chew.
