Meet Chiquita
Chiquita is 3-4 years old and is thought to be an Australian Kelpie mix. For the first two years of her life, she was a feral, running around with a pack of feral dogs. Chiquita was trapped as a feral dog. She has slowly been coming around to house life over the past year.
She enjoys lounging on the couch, playing with toys, playing with other dogs, chewing on bones, and going for walks. She walks excellent on a leash, unless something big and scary comes by and her flight mechanisms kick in. She usually calms down and gets over it quickly though.
She will take a while to bond to a new person and needs someone who has the patience to let her come around in her own time. Chiquita loves other dogs and can get lonely when completely alone so she will do best in a home with other dogs. Watching this girl come to life has been a gift and surely her forever home will get to see tons of growth from her as well!
