Looking for a best friend, running partner, or hiking buddy? Chip is your dog. Chip is a 3 year old neutered male. He loves people, riding in the car, and being included in everything you do!

Chip currently lives with 3 other dogs in his foster home, but he would do best as an only dog or with one other very tolerant, very social dog. While he loves playing, he can get a bit rough and overwhelming to most dogs. Chip, like any good young cattle dog, has a lot of energy to burn through. He has been learning to be a good running partner while in foster and will need some sort of daily exercise to keep him happy and out of trouble (running, hiking, etc)

While Chip is learning manners, he will need patience from his adopter. He is very curious and has been known to eat things left out on the counters while no one is watching. He is also very excited to meet new people and other dogs, so someone willing to continue to work on appropriate greetings so Chip can show his best self would be great! He has a lot of desire to chase, so a cat-free home would be best. Because he hasn’t quite mastered calmness and jumping-free greetings, older kids (10+) are preferred.

Chip is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on preventative vaccines and heartworm/flea meds. He is being fostered in Cleveland, OH. For questions, please contact Labuttcm@gmail.com.
