Chibi Chihuahua Mix Port Townsend, WA

Hi, my name is Chibi! I am approximately 4 years old. I came to HSJC from a shelter in Hawaii when they had a lot of dogs and HSJC needed a few! I weigh around 10 lbs.

I am a sweet girl. I like to be petted and held. I would thrive in a quiet household with no children under 10. I can be shy at first with new people.

When I arrived I had a skin condition, specifically an overgrowth of yeast. I've been on medication and baths, and I'm feeling much better! The vet thinks this may have been initially caused by me being a stray dog with poor diet and parasites.

I am up to date on my DAPP, rabies and bordatella vaccines, and micro-chipped too! My adoption fee is $200 (+ $20 county dog license, if residing within Jefferson County).

I came from a region where I may have been exposed to heartworm. I've had a negative test for this, and I've been on preventative medication too. The vet says I should stay on heartworm preventative medication for 6 months.
