Chewbacca

Meet Chewbacca (because thats exactly who he look like before he got his haircut today)! Chewbaccas owner passed away and the family could not take him in so they reached out to our rescue for help. He is three or four years old, weighs 14 pounds and we think a Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix. He was in kind of rough shape. He had dry, patchy skin and many of his nails were grown into his pads. We took him to the vet today where he had an exam, rabies vaccination, Bordetella, canine four DX Snap test, DA2PP plus Lepto vaccine and was micro chipped. We are now just waiting to get him neutered. At that point he will be ready for adoption. He is a very nice, very calm, sweet, little boy. He gets along really well with other dogs.
