Charlie's Story

Charlie came to us because he was abandoned by being tied to a pole. It is likely he was in the hands of a man who did not treat him the way he should have been treated. This could explain why he is leery of men. He will take to a women but there is little trust of men.

He is eager to play and has shown some smarts when he is playing.

If you have a space in your home and able to help Charlie become the dog we all know he can be, please get in touch with us to arrange a meeting with him.

We are also looking for an experienced suitable foster home to help improve his adjustment to a loving permanent home. If you are a local resident and have some good dog sense and a place to care for Charlie, please get in touch with the District Sheter.
