Charlie Labrador Retriever & Standard Poodle Mix Montclair, NJ

Charlie is a 5-year young, 60 lb, neutered (SHAVED hair growing back) Labradoodle. He's a charming smart cookie with moderate energy, and an athletic stride tempered to leash walking. He's also professionally trained and exhibits excellent manners upon request. Smart dogs in general do best in a home where people will enjoy and engage in playtime whether that's long walks, backyard play, or inside games. Always excited by your return he doesn't mask how happy he is to see you step through the door. A household that has shorter hours with people out of the house or the ideal work from home would be very much to Charlie liking. He doesn't need to be crated as he's content to sit in a favorite chair and wait for those he loves. At his heart he is an affectionate gentle soul, and willingly will relax in his bed, or curl up on the floor (or the couch if allowed) next to you. He's more than OK with other dogs but if it's a large dog best if it's a female. OK with cats - was raised with one and kids - but best if older due to his size.
