He grew up with a whole bunch of siblings... and somehow, he’s the only one left in his foster home. Why? Truly, we don’t know. There is no reason this sweet, gentle, playful boy should still be waiting. He’s the kind of dog people meet once and say, “How is he not adopted yet?”<br/><br/>He’ll happily play ball with you — though in Charlie’s world, it’s more of a “come and get me!” game than a traditional fetch. His silly little zoom aways will make you laugh every time.<br/><br/>After a day of fun, exercise, and adventures, Charlie becomes a snuggle buddy who melts right into you. He wants to feel wanted, cherished, and part of a family who sees how special he truly is.<br/><br/>Charlie has waited long enough.<br/>Apply for him now and give this sweet boy the love, security, and forever home he deserves.<br/><br/>If interested in Charlie, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at: Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.<br/><br/>Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:<br/><br/>Thorough veterinary examination.<br/>All routine annual vaccinations, including<br/>Rabies, DHLPP<br/>Bordetella (Kennel Cough)<br/>Heartworm Test<br/>Fecal Test, Deworming<br/>Microchip<br/>Flea and Tick Prevention<br/>Heartworm Prevention.<br/>Spay/Neuter<br/>All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.<br/><br/>VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.<br/><br/>HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
