Chapo's Story

Meet Chapo, a lovable 6-7 year-old English Bulldog who is ready to bring calm, gentle companionship to a new home. This stocky guy weighed 62 lbs. at his recent vet visit.

Chapo is wonderful with everyone: cats, kids, and other dogs, especially females. He has been known to get a little "macho" with other males. And if you are windshield wipers, Chapo will not be eager to join your fan club. You are his proven nemesis, don't you know?! LOL But he is great in the car otherwise.... He’s crate trained, house trained, and incredibly easy to live with. This low-energy guy is happiest lounging near his people and soaking up affection. His favorite things in life include a good game of tug of war or fetch, treats, booty rubs, praise, and spending time with children.

He’s polite in the house, not much of a barker, and overall a joy to have around.
Chapo is looking for a new home due to a heartbreaking family situation. His family's young daughter has been diagnosed with cancer, and the family has had to relocate to Seattle for treatment. They want the very best for him, and he deserves a home filled with love and stability.
If you’re looking for a gentle, easygoing companion, Chapo may be the perfect match!

Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options!
That’s where you and puppers make sure you’re a good fit for one another before signing on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone! Just ask your adoption counselor about how this works. If you are interested in adopting this or another POPP dog, please complete our short adoption questionnaire found at: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-canine/

If you have any questions. please E-mail us at dogsadopt@popptricities.org.

Our puppy or dog adoption fee of $300 includes a lovable, non-judgmental canine companion who has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped prior to adoption.
Your adoption fee helps support POPP and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.
