Chanel<br/>6yr old Husky mix<br/><br/>Hi Im Chanel and Im looking for someone to love me.<br/>I am a 6-year-old Husky / Greyhound mix which means that I love to run and explore new things and surprisingly enough I am very very quiet. I grew up very lonely in a kennel and that meant that I didnt have a lot of interaction with humans other then kennel staff. That is sad to me because I have so much to give and over the past 3 months with my foster family, they have been teaching me what it is to be part of a family.<br/>I now live in a foster home with furniture to lay on, lots of toys, a family dog to play with and two great people to help me learn what it is to be special.<br/>I can be quite timid until I get to know you. There are so many new experiences, and I want to explore so many things that I havent seen. Please be patient with me as I have some trust issues when it comes to new people. I get so excited about going for walks and I like to meet new people and dogs along the way. <br/>I am a very sweet girl and once I get to know you, I will curl up on the couch beside you and let you get to know me. I am very curious and have discovered what toys are and how much fun they can be. I follow my people around the house and love to run in the yard.<br/>I am not a fan of loud noises right now, but who knows what I can learn from my new forever family. Maybe I might be best in a home without small children because they make me nervous.<br/>I would enjoy someone who has a lot of patience and will continue to let me see what I had been missing all my life. I would do best in a home with another dog companion to help me continue learning how to be part of a family, but would prefer a home with no cats as I have not been cat tested. <br/>I have so much to give and I am learning new things every day. Please give me a chance. I am house trained, enjoy my meals, I like to meet new people and with proper love and support I know that I will make your life complete.<br/><br/>Chanel has been vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, vet checked, heartworm tested, microchipped, and treated with Flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
