Say hello to Clovers baby boy Chandler! He is a beautiful shorty Jack Russell or Parson Russell terrier, or so we all think! This is a new breed now that you can find on the internet for sale for big bucks. They are bred to be short legged and still look like JRTs. He is identical to one we found on the shorty JRT site. He came to us with his mom Clover and his sister from Abilene TX and came from a back yard breeder who turned his dogs over to animal rescue there. We stepped up for them all and took in several of these beautiful and wirey haired kids. Chandler is around 10 weeks old and super friendly and playful. He is super high energy as a terrier puppy and will need an active family to keep up with him. He does take lots of naps too! He has an adorable face and will likely be around 15 to 18 pounds as an adult. He will not be neutered yet as he is too young. So he will go out on a foster to adopt basis with TRACS staying as partial owner until that surgery is completed by the new owner using a $50 voucher that we provide. We do have to collect a check for $150 that we hold as a neuter guarantee per the Montana Code. This baby will have 2 vaccines on board as protection and can go home now. He is a great little puppy dog and his foster mom really loves him! He will also be microchipped too. His adoption fee is $400 and he will be a great companion for an active person or couple!
