You will never go to the bathroom alone again! Or anywhere in the house for that matter. Casey wants nothing more than a human of her own. She has to be the most Velcro foster I’ve ever had, always on my heels in true Heeler fashion. She prefers that you go through doorways first and she will follow.

Casey is relatively low energy. She likes going on walks or hanging out in the yard with her people. She wants her people all to herself. She is reactive to other dogs so I have been working on muzzle training when my three dogs are in the great room too. However, she would be happiest in a home with no other dogs. She has not been around small children or cats. She has a strong prey drive when she sees birds and squirrels in the yard.
I suspect she was never allowed on furniture as she didn’t know how to jump up and relax with me. I also suspect that she never went for rides in the car either since she has no idea how to jump in by herself and needs help. She is very food motivated and learns quickly. She didn’t even know how to sit when she arrived, but we’ve worked on sit, down, stay and come. Her recall is very good.

Casey sleeps in her crate in the “Dog Room” with other dogs. She’s not super happy when you put her in there when you’re leaving and will grab her blanket or bed and furiously shake it. She likes to pull the other dogs bed out of their crates. Other than those moments, she has not shown any interest in toys.
Casey has undergone Heartworm treatment and will need to be rechecked in four months. She is spayed and is up to date on preventatives and vaccinations.
