Meet Cantaloupe
Hi! I’m Cantaloupe! I’m about 10 years old and 25lbs.
I was a little chunky mess when I was taken in by APR, but I have been working on my figure! I love to go on walks to the park and have recently taken up jogging while my foster dad rides his skateboard next to me. I’m also just fine laying around the house all day.
I’m great with other dogs and would probably be good with cats, as long as they aren’t trying to steal my snacks. Sometimes I get a little too excited when there is food around.
I love to howl when ambulances or fire trucks drive by with their sirens on. I must let them know that I’m part of their pack!
I have a mild heart murmur from age-related changes in the valves of my heart, but it is not something to worry about right now. I am currently being tested for Cushing’s disease. I may have some things going on internally, but I’m the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet and nothing will stop me from loving you!
