Candy is a beautiful border collie mix who is 2-3 years old. She was poorly socialized so is getting her sea legs with new people. She is shy and submissive with both people and other dogs, but will be a wonderful pet once she develops confidence.
Candy is spayed, microchipped, up to date with vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. She would be a wonderful addition to most homes and we are looking for one with security and consistency. Learn more about how to meet and adopt Candy on our website at www.carerva.com.
CARE Rescue is foster-base rescue located in Richmond, VA. We do not have a facility for you to come to meet animals at. You must visit our weekly adoption stand (calendar on our website) to meet the adoptable dogs. Out of area adoptions can only be facilitated when we are able to find a volunteer to do a home visit for us and when the potential adopter already has a veterinary reference.
