BUNNY's Story
Meet Bunny 🐾

Bunny’s story is one of true resilience. She was found in Mississippi starving and fighting to survive, with rocks and debris in her stomach just to ease her hunger. Thanks to a kindhearted Good Samaritan, Bunny was rescued and placed into a loving foster home where she could finally begin to heal.

Now safe in her Connecticut foster home, Bunny is thriving and showing everyone just how special she is. She’s about 3 years old and weighs around 45 lbs—an ideal medium size for many homes.

Bunny is dog-friendly and has also been living peacefully with a cat, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet household. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys getting out for her daily strolls.

While Bunny can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly—especially if you come bearing treats! Once she feels comfortable, her sweet and loving personality shines through.

Because Bunny can occasionally be a bit “nippy” when she’s unsure, she would do best in a home with older children or adults only who can respect her boundaries and help her continue building confidence.

Bunny has come such a long way and deserves a forever home where she’ll never have to worry about her next meal or her safety again. Could that be with you?

Notes from bunny’s foster:

Bunny (aka Honey Bunny, Bun Bun, Bunny Bear)
Age: 2-3 ish
Weight: 40 lbs
Breed; Pyr/Lab Mix would be my guess

Although Bunny had a rough start she is thriving and living her best life now! She is the sweetest mush ball with the right mix of playful energy and “ok, let’s chill on the couch.” As long as she is with you, she is up for just about anything!

Bunny loves her walkies, sniffing everything, meeting new dogs, toys, treats, and being with you. Treats are always welcome, but pets and belly rubs are even better!

This beauty is an awesome partner who is great in her crate, listens to instructions, and good with her foster mum’s senior cat ( with proper boundaries set), and just the best buddy.

Direct link to application:
https://docs.google.com/forms/u/2/d/e/1FAIpQLSeU6eaT2iuiVIh1drpbr3DaeINNSs5z9MKV4DwY7SRt4XEUSg/viewform

Petfinder inquiries will not be seen!
