When running his picture through a breed identification app...he comes back as a Shih Tzu/Dandie Dinmont Terrier mix...with his long body and short legs. We were so curious about his breed, that a Wisdom Panel DNA test has been submitted for BUDDY. We will post results when received. But whatever breed he is...there is one thing for sure...he is a great dog! He is good with people and dogs alike...and is enjoying his foster siblings in his temporary home. <br/><br/>We would love a securely fenced yard, for his safety and enjoyment, as he loves to enjoy the outdoors in the fenced area on these beautiful spring days in his foster home. BUDDY is doing well with his housetraining with his foster mom home with him during the day to keep him on a schedule.<br/><br/>Since coming into rescue, BUDDY has required the following vet care: he had his blood panel and fecal checked, had a neuter, had his distemper combination with lepto and booster, bordetella, and rabies vaccinations, was microchipped, and is on heartworm/flea preventative. <br/><br/>If you meet the above requirements and think your home is the one for BUDDY, the first step is to contact us by email (NOT using the Petfinder link as we have difficulty receiving those inquiries) so send the email to:<br/><br/>aboutrescuedogs@aol.com <br/><br/>and tell us about your family situation and explain why you think your home would be a good match for BUDDY. Also please include your name, address, and phone number in the email. We will also require the name and phone number of your vet clinic as a reference so phone ahead and advise them we will be calling. <br/><br/>If BUDDY appears online as adoptable, he is still available. <br/> <br/>BUDDY will be shown at a meet and greet after approved application completion. His adoption fee is $500 and includes a collar, leash, harness, toys, crate, food and more. <br/><br/>Thanks for wanting to Rescue One!
