Buck von Alsenz is a delightful 4-month old husky puppy who adores children! Buck loves playing with the young foster children in a polite, gentle manner without the temptation to be nippy or mouthy; he’s a mellow soul with a very calm temperament around kids. He allows the foster children to snuggle, give much appreciated belly rubs, and run their fingers through his soft, gorgeous chocolate brown coat while showering them with puppy kisses. Buck is also a terrific playmate for the four-legged members of the foster family – he will run, play and roll with the larger young shepherd and Great Dane in the yard until it’s time to unwind in a quiet place. Being a very sensitive soul, he is also smart enough to realize that the family’s very senior shepherd doesn’t appreciate hard-core play, so he prefers instead to sneak in a cuddle with her. Because Buck is very well socialized, he tells us that he would prefer a home with other fur-companions so he’s never alone -- he even sleeps quietly if his fur siblings are within eyesight. Buck’s foster mom is impressed with how quickly he’s becoming housebroken and learning proper manners, and she is certain that Buck will make a terrific family companion.
