Bruiser 3595's Story
07/20/26 — BRUISER is looking for his forever family! This 5-year-old boy came to us from a shelter, so we don’t have much history on him. What we do know is that he’s incredibly sweet, friendly with everyone he meets, and always up for some pool time. He’s already won over a few of our new volunteers with his gentle, easygoing temperament.

Bruiser walks nicely on a leash, and afterward he’s happiest curled up and snuggling with his person. He seems to enjoy being around other dogs, though we haven’t had the chance to do a direct meet yet. One thing to note: thunderstorms really scare him.

He’d likely do best with a family that’s home often or works from home.

With time, love, and patience, BRUISER is going to blossom into the beautiful Doberman he was meant to be. Get those applications in—Bruiser is ready to join your family!
Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
Foster Application Adoption Application
