Bruce Wayne Golden Retriever Waterville, OH

This is 7 year old Bruce who has found himself in the position of needing a new home to call his own. The family he lived with had children starting when Bruce was five years old. Now that he is older, he doesn't take kindly to the type of commotion a one and two year old child makes. So Bruce finds himself now looking for a quiet home as a middle aged boy. The good news, middle age is the best age for golden retrievers! Golden's are young for a very long time and Bruce still loves to play like a younger golden.

Bruce is smart as a whip. He is slowly learning the other dog in the foster home means him no harm, but it would make his adjustment a lot faster if his new home didn't have another dog.

Bruce loves to ride in the car and has been known to behave perfectly. He loves going for long walks and is very good on a leash. Bruce would love to have a place to play ball. This could be in a field or a yard or anywhere. He catches like a pro, and will chase after a your bad throw, returning it to you every time (nice because most of us are used to the opposite).

Bruce is completely housebroken and would love to sleep next to your bed at night. Bruce smiles as he sits or lays next to you. He is not fussy about his food and he loves raw veggies to snack on. Bruce is very good with everyone, including strangers and will let them pet him and snuggle with them. He will bark like a good boy when someone comes to the door, but just say "it's ok" and he will stop.

Bruce will be a VERY faithful boy for some lucky family. He answers to almost any command and is sometimes called "Deuce" in his home.
