Meet Bruce, he is a 2.5 year old English Bulldog/Pit Bull mix who is very excited about life! Bruce has a lot of energy like a puppy and would do best with an active owner. He has loads of charm and is a very handsome dog. He is low to the ground like a bulldog, fully grown at 56 pounds and has a great big smile! Bruce listens well and wants to please. He lives in a foster home with two cats and is being respectful to them. His foster mom reports: He is like an overgrown puppy, silly playful, happy, loving, cuddly and wants to please. He knows NO and listens well, likes to obey. When he is mellow, he buries his head under me, kind of like a bow, nose down - makes me melt! He is great in the crate, even goes in on his own when he sees me getting ready for work and is just fine being home alone. Bruce needs someone who is in charge and will take him for a couple of good walks per day. He loves his walks! He also loves playing with other dogs but can be a bit much for many dogs in that he is a rough and tumble style goofball who will get calmer as he gets older, but for now it has a lot of teenage energy. Being a quick learner, he would also do well in obedience classes since he likes to work and please. Bruce is already neutered, up-to-date with shots and micro-chipped.
