Brownie 3611's Story
08/05/26 Please help us welcome sweet BROWNIE, a beautiful 3-year-old redhead, to Doberman Rescue League!

Brownie was found as a stray by a Good Samaritan and brought to the West Palm Beach shelter. After her stray hold ended, we learned this sweet girl is heartworm-positive.

We’re still getting to know Brownie—her personality, preferences, and what kind of home will be the best fit. Since she just had her spay surgery, we’ll wait about 10 days before evaluating her with other dogs.

What we do know is that this sweet redhead deserves a safe, loving place to recover and decompress.

Brownie could really use a foster—or even a foster-to-adopt—family!Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
Foster Application Adoption Application
