Brooklyn's Story

Brooklyn was brought into the shelter with her brother Tanner, who has now been adopted. She oftentimes relied on him for social cues and for courage, as she was the smaller and meeker of the two. She has gotten braver, no longer hiding under her bed when in her kennel, and she will now let the warden and I pet her head. Once she gets used to you, she is still a little shy, but she will sit beside you and ask for pets, occasionally even crawling into your lap. She struggles with trust, but I'm sure that once she's shown that she can trust again, she will be a wonderful companion.
