Our Mission
The Vinton County Dog Shelter strives to provide stray dogs in our county with shelter during the times when they are in need, as well as to adopt out those dogs to the best homes possible.

Adoption Policy

We would love to set up an appointment for potential pet parents to meet the dogs!
Our $35 adoption fee includes: current year dog license, DHLPP vaccines, microchip, flea/tick treatment, wormer, leash and collar. You will also receive an $100 fee waiver for the dog to get spay/neutered at the local veterinarian office.
