Once we find an approved<br/>adopter or foster we can schedule transport for him.<br/>Meet Brody (Scotty)<br/>Brody is a 15-week-old Great Pyrenees mix (best guess Labrador Retriever or Great Dane) who<br/>is ready for a fresh start. He has been with a rescue in Texas since birth alongside his mama<br/>and siblings, including his brother Beau (Max), and is now ready to begin the next chapter in a<br/>home of his own.<br/>He is a silly, playful, and affectionate puppy who loves people and enjoys being part of the<br/>action. Brody does well with dogs and, like his brother, has been growing up in a social<br/>environment that has helped him build confidence and friendliness. With his young age and<br/>temperament, he is expected to adjust well to a variety of home environments.<br/>Brody is still learning and working on his leash mannershe gets very excited when its time to<br/>explore, but with patience and consistency he is eager to learn. He is crate trained and doing<br/>well with potty training, though he is still a young puppy and may have occasional accidents as<br/>he continues to learn. Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. Application processing: we do a thorough background check, landlord approval (if applicable) or home ownership verification, vet check, and review your application. This process can take up to 5 business days. note: if renting, please have your landlord write letter of approval for you to have a dog, including breed restrictions, and either send to muttlifeapps@gmail.com or submit document during application submission.? Please authorize your vet to release medical information with Mutt Life. ? Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. ?Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. Neuter/spay for puppies: if dogs are adopted prior to 6 months of age and are not neutered/spayed yet, we will work with you to coordinate an appointment with one of our veterinary clinic partners or you can go through your vet and we will give you a partial adoption fee reimbursement. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
