Brodie is a one year old, altered, pitty mix male that is white and brown with a short coat and a big head.
Brodie came as a stray and was not claimed, his finder has had him altered and Brodie is a house dog now with many others of all ages and mostly larger size.
Brodie gets along with most dogs and loves to be play, he is not a fan of the dominant male dog at his foster home and will do best with other friendly dogs like him. There are no cats where Brodie lives so we are unsure how he would react to a cat. Brodie is around horses and cows and has no reaction. He has been with children but will jump so older children would be best, a home that has some time to train and walk Brodie will be needed for this sweet and friendly guy.
Brodie is house trained and has not had accidents in the home. He has a medium- higher energy at times and loves to run in his fenced yard. Brodie is leash trained and does well, he knows SIT, DOWN and OFF and is very eager to please, he loves being with his people and will do well with someone who is home mostly since his foster family are home with him.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
