Briggs Mixed Breed Matthews, IN

Briggs is such a big squish!
He’s a bouncy silly goofball that wants to play but also snuggle once he’s sleepy.
He is VERY high energy!
He’s good with other dogs but he wants to play and play hard.
He is fine with cats but sometimes thinks they might want to play, so a confident cat that isn’t skittish would best.
He has been fine with respectful children he’s met, but he big and bouncy and might knock over or squish little ones.
He is learning crate training, potty trained to a doggy door, and has good house manners.
His day is spent romping with Ohana (also adoptable) and boy do they have fun!
We are requiring Briggs go to a home with experience with bull type breeds (bulldogs, am bullies, apbt’s, staffies)
because he is big and strong!
We are also requiring he go to a home with a fenced yard due to the fact that he had reverted to “survival mode” when he was a stray and had to be live trapped for us to catch him.
He barks when excited and he has a deep raspy bark that might sound scary but he’s really just talking to you.
He needs training but he is very food motivated so we feel training should be easy.
Like all bull breed type dogs, he needs a strong, confident, consistent leader that will provide him with the tools he needs to be his best self!
Briggs is seriously a great dog and is so ready for a home of his own!
