Brenda's Story
Meet Brenda

Brenda is one of four adult dogs we rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in Tulare.
She spent her life surviving in a crowded home, raising litter after litter of puppies.

Brenda is a 3-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix with a huge heart. Once she feels safe, she is incredibly loving. She gives the sweetest kisses, loves to snuggle, and wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She is also crate trained and potty trained, and she does well with other dogs and even cats.

Like many dogs who came from difficult beginnings, Brenda can be a little nervous with new people at first. Big walks or unfamiliar places can feel overwhelming, but with patience and small bits of exposure she continues to gain confidence. She just needs someone willing to move at her pace and show her the world isn’t so scary.

She also has a playful, silly side and plenty of energy when it’s time to play but she is just as happy curling up and matching the calm energy of her humans when it’s time to relax.
Brenda would likely do best in a home with older, respectful children who understand that she may need a little time to warm up.

After spending her life having puppies and living in chaos, Brenda deserves something she has never truly had before a safe home, patience, and a family that is hers forever.

If you can give Brenda the chance she deserves, she will repay you with endless love.

https://form.jotform.com/EastBayRescueRefuge/animal-adoption-application

After spending her life having puppies and living in chaos, Brenda deserves something she has never truly had before a safe home, patience, and a family that is hers forever.
