Brandy's Story

AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Brandy! Brandy is a 3 month old female shih tzu/yorkshire terrier mix and she weighs about 5 pounds. She is still a growing girl and will get bigger, we just can not predict how big, but we do think she will stay under 20 pounds, we just can't guarantee that:) Brandy arrived in rescue as part of an accidental litter.
She has been raised in a loving foster home and is thriving, but is ready for a forever family to call her own. She does need a family that is up for all things puppy - house training, leash training, learning what to chew and not chew and continued socialization! Her foster dad said she would like to introduce herself: Hi, my name is Brandy. I'm super playful and absolutely adorable! I enjoy playing with toys, bones, other dogs and your fingers. Older children and/or another young fur friend to play with would be great, but I will also be ok as an only pup, as long as someone is around more than they are away. I sleep pretty well through the night (but may need a few nights to adjust in my new home) and have already started working on my potty training. I will need a family who is home more often than not while learning all things puppy related (house training, leash walking, crate training, etc.). Are you up for the puppy challenge? If so, then you should definitely pick me!

Brandy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Brandy is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $525. If you are interested in applying to adopt Brandy, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
