She came to Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue after being rescued from a neglect situation in Georgia alongside her littermates Olive, Cherry, and Bitters. Despite their difficult start in life, Brandy and her siblings have proven to be resilient, loving puppies who are ready to leave the past behind and enjoy the lives they deserve.

Since arriving in Wisconsin, Brandy has settled beautifully into her foster home and has quickly become a favorite. She is currently living on a farm, where she spends her days around horses, multiple other dogs, and plenty of activity. Brandy takes everything in stride and gets along wonderfully with everyone she meets. She has a calm, low-key personality and is often happy just hanging out with her people or canine friends.

Brandy is pretty much potty trained and is crate trained. She also knows how to use a dog door, making her an easy addition to a home. While she is still learning leash manners, she hasn't had much need for a leash at her foster home because she spends much of her time safely exploring the farm off leash. With a little practice and consistency, she should catch on quickly.

One of Brandy's favorite things is spending time with her family. She loves toys and bones, enjoys lounging on the couch after a walk or some outdoor playtime, and happily curls up in bed with her foster parents at night. She has also been around a newborn baby and has been incredibly gentle and sweet, showing that she has the temperament to be a wonderful family companion.

At approximately 18 pounds, Brandy is a great medium size and will continue growing into a wonderful adult dog. She is affectionate without being overly demanding, playful without being hyper, and adaptable to new situations. Whether she's making friends with other dogs, watching the horses, chewing on a favorite bone, or snuggling up for the evening, Brandy is simply happy to be included.

Brandy has already overcome more than any puppy should have to, and now she's ready for a family who will love her for the rest of her life.

Age: 56 Months

Gender: Female

Weight: Approximately 18 lbs

Breed: Aussie/Jack Russell Mix (best guess)

Spayed: Yes

Potty Trained: Mostly

Crate Trained: Yes

Leash Manners: Learning

Good with Dogs: Yes

Good with Cats: Yes

Good with Kids: Yes

Good with Horses: Yes

If you're looking for a sweet, gentle puppy who is past the tiny puppy stage but still young enough to grow up alongside your family, Brandy may be the perfect match.
