Boudreaux's Story

Looking for a loyal best friend who doubles as a world-class couch cuddler? Allow us to introduce Boudreaux—or as we lovingly call him, Boo Boo. This approximately 6-year-old Olde English Bulldog mix is a true testament to resilience and joy. Even during his toughest days recovering from a torn cruciate, fractured pelvis and pinched nerve, Boo Boo's sweet, goofy spirit never wavered.

**What Makes Boo Boo Special?**

- He adores **adventures** of all kinds, whether it's a leisurely walk around the block or ride in the car.

- A certified **nap enthusiast**, he's always down for some quality couch time with his favorite human.

- Boo transforms into a playful pup when toys are involved, especially stuffed ones—watch him toss, chase, and entertain himself!

**The Perfect Home for Boudreaux**
True to his suspected breed, Boo Boo is a quirky mix of traits: stubborn, dramatic, vocal, affectionate, and endlessly loyal. He thrives in an environment where personal space is negotiable (his love language is being close, really close). However, his strength, enthusiasm and occasional mouthiness and selective resource guarding means that a home without children is the best fit. Apartments might not be ideal either—Boo has a flair for rooster-like noises when he's feeling extra energetic or demanding attention.

**A Little Extra Care, A Lot of Extra Love**
Boudreaux does have a few special needs, including mild focal seizures and pain management. Boo would flourish in a qiet home with a strong and experienced owner who understands his requirements/limitations and is ready to meet them with love and patience while continueing the training he has started with his foster family. If you're new to his breed, we encourage you to do a bit of research to ensure Boo Boo is your perfect match.

Though he's what we like to call a "needy boy," the love and happiness Boo Boo brings to every interaction is *more* than worth it. He's ready to be your forever shadow, adventure partner, and cuddle champion.

Are you ready to give this wrinkly potato the loving home he deserves? Buffalo Underdogs Rescue's Adoption Policy
After our dogs are listed for adoption, you can apply online for the dog you are interested in meeting. *Buffalo Underdogs Rescue does not operate on a “first come, first served” basis. Our primary concern is that the dogs in our care go to the home that is best suited for them.* The foster parent of the dog will view all of the applications that are submitted for their foster dog. They will select the applicants that seem to be the best fit and call their personal and vet references. If your application appears to be the best fit for their foster dog, they will then contact you to set up a meet and greet at your house. They will also discuss the adoption requirements during this initial call. *Note: All members of the family must be present at the meet and greet.* If all goes well at the meet and greet, and the foster and family feel that this is the best fit, arrangements will be made to complete the adoption. In order to adopt, you must have an appropriately sized collar (or harness, if required), leash and a dog tag with your telephone number.
