Meet Boomer!
 
Boomer is a 1.5 year old retriever mix. He's neutered, current on vaccines, wormed, heartworm negative/on prevention, on flea/tick prevention and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $175.

Rescued from a Southern IN shelter, Boomer is a beautiful, happy boy that deserves to be treated like a prince the rest of his life. After a trip to the vet we learned his left elbow and right leg have been broken and never fixed so they have healed wrong. The muscles and tendons have drawn up and removing one leg would put too much pressure on the other weakened leg so he is not a good candidate for surgery. He also has buckshot in his right hip. Helping him maintain a healthy weight and keeping him on a joint health supplement like Cosequin will be very beneficial to him. You would think such a rough start would leave him fearful or untrusting but Boomer is happy and loves everyone he meets. His foster mom says he's very laid back and loves to please and snuggle.
