Bolt

Bolt is a little on the larger size for a Maremma mix. He seems to take more after the Great Pyrenees side in structure, personality and temperament. He's a super nice guy, calm, observant, somewhat pensive in the beginning, but is loads of fun and a fantastic guardian dog. He knows his job well, and is serious about it. He's good with other dogs, but does like to eat alone. He isn't aggressive, just dominates the food, so anyone else won't be allowed to eat until he is done. Bolt is happiest outside, and patrols his area well. He is used to being in a 4 ft fence with a hot wire, and respects the boundaries. He would also be OK loose on the farm and not wander off after his adjustment period. He isn't a solitary guy though and would need a partner or two to be happy.
